she said, "take a bite" and fed me a summer-swollen peach, rosy and ripe with the delights of the season of abundance. i took a bite, my eyes still swimming in hers. she watched as i sunk my teeth into the peach and sent a trail of juice down her arm. carefully, i pulled the fruit from her hands and fed her the same. she closed her eyes and bit. juice dripped silently from her chin onto her collarbone, where i brushed my lips and waited for permission. she held me with conviction, but her brown unfurrowed as i tasted her like confection. she drew me to her mouth and sang; her, the siren, and i, the swan.

This poem is amazing. I love how visceral the poem is. This exploded in my head, and I'm thirsty for more. I love the structure. I've never see this before and I love it. What a great poem. So glad I've subscribed to you.
